2019-20 ATHLETIC CLEARANCE INFORMATION:
1. Complete FamilyID registration (select each sport your student plans to play)
2. Current Physical on File in the Benson Athletic office or uploaded to FamilyID.
We are asking ALL parent/guardians of Benson student-athletes, to please register your student for a Benson sport through this website: www.familyid.com/organizations/benson-high-school
After registering on FamilyID, please upload your student's completed physical form onto FamilyID, or provide a hard copy to the Benson Athletic office. This is a must before clearing any student-athlete.
All forms must be completed through FamilyID (including physical to the office), or hard copies of each document turned-in to athletic office with current clearance, and parent/guardian signatures by August 10th to be cleared for try-outs.

Benson competes in the 6A Portland Interscholastic League.
On our site you'll find resources necessary to compete for Benson High School. All players must be cleared BEFORE the first day of practice with a physical or update form, guidelines and policies contract, and a blue card present in the Athletics Office. You'll also find contact information for our coaches. Go Tech
Please see the registration tab at the top of the page to register your student to participate in athletics at Benson High School.
To be cleared academically:
1.Student must have passed at least 5 course last semester
2. Be currently enrolled and passing at least 5 courses this semester
3.Earned the following number of credits:
-4.0 credits by start of 10th grade
-9.5 credits by start of 11th grade
-17 credits by start of 12th grade
4.Earned the following minimum GPA last semester:
- 2.0 GPA with no F's
- 2.5 GPA with one F
FAILURE TO MEET (1), (2), OR (3) = NOT ELIGIBLE
FAILURE TO MEET (4) = ACADEMIC PROBATION ***academic probation for two consecutive grading periods will make athlete ineligible until the next grading period (9 wks).
